
Earhart’s 50+ Club will host four seniors technology sessions this spring with Rick Hearn and Christina Cox-Hearn at Otterbury Schoolhouse. Details on each session can be found below:
Session #1: Communications & Connections – Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m. Topics include:
- Smartphones and tablets
- Social media and communication apps
- Voice assistants
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Session #2: Health & Safety – Sunday, May 25, at 3 p.m. Topics include:
- My Health NL (Gov NL portal)
- Online medical care (e.g., Medicuro)
- Health monitoring devices
- Medical alert / fall detection technology
Session #3: Entertainment & Learning – Wednesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. Topics include:
- Music and TV streaming services
- Online learning platforms for educational purposes
- Brain games and online learning
- Online access to Council meetings
Session #4: Everyday Life – Wednesday, June 11, at 7 p.m. Topics include:
- Online banking
- Online shopping
- Home security systems
- Food services options
Each session features a presentation followed by a Q&A with the presenters.
