Update on Non-Consumption Order for Main Water Supply (Jan. 27, 2026, 9:15 a.m.)
Important Notice for All Residents on Town Services (i.e., not serviced by a well)
Last night, Monday, January 26, 2026, the Town of Harbour Grace became aware of possible contaminants entering our water line on Water Street, near the old Esso bulk oil station. Earlier on Monday, the Town conducted emergency repairs on a nearby section of water line, and possible contaminants may have entered the line during this time.
Right now, the Town is conducting emergency flushing on these water lines, and the water is being tested.
