Update from the Town of Harbour Grace on Upcoming Planned Capital Projects:
We wish to make residents aware that the new pumping station in Riverhead, which will accommodate the planned Southside Water and Sewer Project, has been completed. Unfortunately, the proposal to start Phase I of this capital works project was rejected during this fiscal year. However, the Town plans to apply to the Municipal Capital Works Program to fund this project once again in 2025 and are optimistic regarding its approval.
Council continues to lobby on residents’ behalf.
