In an effort to better communicate with its residents, the Town of Harbour Grace has implemented the Voyent Alert! system.
Voyent Alert! is is an mass-notification system which allows the municipality to quickly send notices to residents via the following methods:
- the Voyent Alert! smartphone app
- SMS text message
- phone call (i.e., audio)
This short tutorial video explains how residents can register for the notification system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSXaklw5tsI
Residents have the option of downloading the Voyent Alert! app in their smartphone’s App Store, or by simply registering online at the following URL: register.voyent-alert.com.
For those who are interested in signing up but need help registering, the Town will offer a drop-in registration clinic at the Harbour Grace War Memorial Public Library on Thursday, August 6, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.
We encourage all residents to register for this service to stay up-to-date on current municipal notices.
