We’ve had some inquiries recently from residents regarding Harbour Grace’s protocols for waste collection in 2024. Recent changes with waste collection providers in neighbouring communities (ex., clear plastic bags) do not affect collection in our municipality, where waste collection is provided by a private contractor.
Also, for those inquiring about recycling protocols, these also remain the same (see the image pictured above). Paper copies of this recycling information flyer are available at the Town Hall for those seeking a copy.
Recycling is picked up bi-weekly on the following schedule:
Monday recycling schedule: Water Street and associated areas
Thursday recycling schedule: Harvey Street and associated areas; Riverhead; Harbour Grace South
