- Sea Can Container – 40’ (L) x 8’ (W) x 9’ (H)
The sea can container is wired with a 100-amp electrical panel, man door inside, and a steel outside door. It is finished inside with an office in the back with a door. It will be sold in its present condition (“as is, where is”). The purchaser will be responsible for removal and delivery.
- 2011 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4WD – 250,000 kms
The SUV will be sold in its present condition (“as is, where is”). Any costs associated with registration, acquisition, or transfer of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the purchaser. If the successful bidder is a private individual, the emergency lighting will be removed prior to sale.
- 2012 Jeep Wrangler Soft Top
The soft top fits a 4-door 2012 Jeep Wrangler. The item is like new and will be sold in its present condition (“as is, where is”).

A bid deposit of 10% of the bid price must accompany each tender. The bid deposit must be in the form of a certified cheque, debit, or money order made payable to the TOWN OF HARBOUR GRACE and is refundable to unsuccessful bidders. The bid deposit will be applied to the purchase price from the successful bidder with the remainder of the agreed price to be received at the Town Hall within 30 days from the date of acceptance of tender. If in the event the successful bidder chooses not to proceed with the purchase, the bid deposit is non-refundable.
Sealed tenders, clearly marked “Tender – Sea Can Container,” “Tender – 2011 Chevrolet Suburban,” or “Tender – 2012 Jeep Wrangler Soft Top,” will be received at the Town Hall, P.O. Box 310, Harbour Grace, NL A0A 2M0, up to 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, May 10, 2024, and will be publicly opened at that time. The decision to accept any tender received shall be made at the next regular meeting of Council thereafter.
Council does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender. The sale by tender process is subject to the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 (ATIPPA). The financial value of the tender will be publicly released with the award notification.
