The general public is invited to view a draft copy of the Town of Harbour Grace Municipal Plan Amendment No. 5, 2023, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 6, 2023.
The proposed Municipal Plan Amendment No. 5, 2023, will redesignate land on the southside of Water Street west from Industrial to Town. Development Regulations Amendment No. 6, 2023, will rezone the same area of land from Industrial (IND) to Town (TN). The amendments are required to allow for residential development at this location.
The public may provide any comments or concerns on the proposed change to the Town in writing before Council proceeds with adopting the proposed amendments. The Town of Harbour Grace draft Municipal Plan Amendment No. 5, 2023, and Development Regulations No. 6, 2023, shall be on display July 31, 2023, to August 4, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Town Hall, Harbour Grace. The deadline for written comments shall be 4:00 p.m., August 4, 2023.
