Join the Town of Harbour Grace and special guests as we celebrate the return of our much beloved Amelia Earhart statue on the 94th anniversary of aviator’s historic flight from our community. The event will take place at St. Francis School, 18 Cathedral Street, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Drop by to hear a special performance from our St. Francis School choir, meet an Earhart impersonator, and get a first glimpse of our refurbished statue, which has been carefully restored by the Newfoundland Bronze Foundry.
Snacks and refreshments provided by Earhart’s 50+ Club and Jess Brennan Bakes.
