Notice to Residents: Hydrant Flushing
The Town of Harbour Grace wishes to advise residents that the Public Works Department will continue flushing hydrants from July 30 – August 14, 2026. The areas to be flushed include:
- Cathedral Street to Bears Cove area and all side streets and lanes in between
Low pressure and discoloured water may be experienced in all areas of town. During this time, residents are asked to refrain from washing clothes and other related activities when flushing is taking place in your area. After flushing has ended and you notice discolouration of water, please run the cold water tap until the water clears. Discolouration in the water will be temporary. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
