MESSAGE FROM COUNCIL:
On behalf of my colleagues on Council, staff, and all residents of the historic Town of Harbour Grace, I’m proud to present this special Christmas edition of The Heart of the Harbour, our seasonal community newsletter.
I want to take this opportunity to wish everybody in our community a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your contributions in 2024. Although the holidays are often a time of celebration, they can also be a time of difficulty for those less fortunate in our society. Please take the time to think about those who may be struggling this holiday season, as we wish for peace and prosperity in 2025 and in years to come. Lend a helping hand if you can.
Make sure to check out our most recent ‘Business of the Week’ profiles on R. Tetford & Son and Compassion HomeCare, which are now available on our website. If you have the opportunity, we encourage you to shop local this Christmas.
Let’s embody our tagline, Let Yourself In, and continue to be welcoming neighbours to each other. “It’s a great place, our Harbour Grace.”
