French Conversation Beginner Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 is coming to campus for Winter 2025 and is FREE to participants.
College of the North Atlantic’s Customized and Continuous Learning (CCL) department will provide French Conversation Beginner Level 1 and Level 2 at CNA campuses across Newfoundland and Labrador. These courses are free of charge with financial assistance provided through the Canada – Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement for Minority-Language Education and Second Official-Language Instruction.

French Conversation Beginner Level 1 (20 hours): Monday and Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.). Classes are from January 13th – 31st, 2025. Registration Deadline for French Conversation Beginner Level 1: January 10th, 2025.
French Conversation Beginner Level 2 (20 hours): Monday and Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.). Classes are from February 3rd – 27th, 2025. Registration Deadline for French Conversation Beginner Level 2: January 21st, 2025.
Students interested in registering for Beginner Level 2 will need to complete an assessment tool to ensure they meet the qualifications for entry into the course
French Conversation Beginner Level 3 (20 hours): Monday and Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.). Classes are from March 3 – 27th, 2025. Registration Deadline for French Conversation Beginner Level 2: February 28th, 2025.
Each course offering is 10 weeks.
