
The Town of Harbour Grace has been approved for Community Enhancement Employment Program (CEEP) funding under the Department of Municipal Affairs and Community Engagement (MACE).
The Town is currently seeking participants for this employment opportunity. This project will involve exterior renovations and item inventorying at the Parsons/Collis Building, Registered Heritage Structure.
The expected project start date is Monday, September 22, 2025.
Please note the following:
- These positions pay minimum wage ($16.00/hour).
- Individuals must be currently unemployed to be eligible to work on the project (Note: part-time, casual, and call-in applicants are ineligible).
- Individuals must provide all previous Record(s) of Employment (ROE) within the last 12 months.
- Individuals can be employed up to 400 hours (subject to change as per Service Canada).
- Individuals who require more than 400 hours of project employment to obtain Employment Insurance (EI) benefits are ineligible to participate.
- Individuals must qualify for EI by the end of the project.
Service Canada can provide further information regarding EI eligibility.
