In September 2024, the Newfoundland Academic Island Student Education Program (Academic Island) will have students attending high schools in the Conception Bay North area. These students will be from many different countries, with the largest group of students coming from the Canary Islands in Spain and will be attending school from September – December. In preparation for their arrival, Academic Island is looking for Homestay Families to take these students into their homes. Academic Island will pay the host family $800 per month.
